Project Structure:
The BCCOM project is funded by a 3-year grant from Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Following a successful pilot study, the BCCOM Project protocol was designed in consultation with the ABS at BASO and the UK Association of Cancer Registries (UKACR).
The BCCOM project is managed by a project manager located in the West Midlands Cancer Intelligence Unit (WMCIU) and is coordinated by the WMCIU.
The BCCOM Project team also receives assistance from some cancer networks through the designation of the project as a ‘cancer network audit’.
